A shocking video has surfaced on the internet purportedly showing a Hong Kong teenager performing oral sex and other services on a double-decker bus for HK$200 to raise money to buy herself a Gucci handbag.
The six-minute video shows a 17-year-old girl with a man on the upper deck of a moving bus with scenes of Hong Kong Island in the background.
It is suspected the video was made by girls engaged in "compensated dating." It is unclear who shot the video.
Police are investigating. A spokesman said the Technology Crime Division of the Commercial Crime Bureau is conducting the probe.
Police had earlier expressed concern at the rising number of popular discussion forums being used to promote "compensated dating" - a trend coined in Japan involving female students providing unknown men with companionship and sex services in exchange for money or luxuries.
It is a euphemism for prostitution.
Police fear the situation will get worse when more students and teenagers start to look for summer jobs.
The video was posted on the popular discussion website "Hong Kong Golden Forum."
Still pictures have also surfaced on Yahoo.
A caption attached with the video, in English, reads: "Kikimushroom do things on bus."
The film starts with a girl and a man with his jeans zipped open. At least three other passengers were seated at the front of the bus. A male voice describes the act and claims you can get the girl's services "for a price."
He also says the teenager's clients do not need to use a condom.
A girl's voice then describes "the quiet and peaceful surroundings outside the bus."
Near the end of the video, a clip of a young Chinese girl's face appears.
